HAFFNER ENERGY has notably developed HYNOCA , a disruptive technology for highly competitive AND renewable hydrogen production. HYNOCA brings the most efficient and competitive known solution to renewable Hydrogen, with a target price below 3.5 $ per kg (zero rated) at the pump for the mobility applications, and less than 2.5 $ for industrial applications. Hydrogen is produced out of biomass, eradicating any constraints on the electrical grid. HYNOCA converts 67% of primary energy into compressed Hydrogen, and is produced at the site of its delivery. HYNOCA is a standardized, compact, safe, highly duplicable system, which can be installed in existing urban gas stations. HYNOCA has already gained a strong support from the French Authorities, with 3.06 Million Euros financial aids from ADEME. The proof of concept is achieved, and HAFFNER ENERGY will launch in 2018 an industrial scale demonstrator, with a capacity of 120 kg/H2 per day, to be operated all year. HAFFNER ENERGY relies on 25 years in biomass and organic waste energetic energy recovery, with the construction of more than 30 cogeneration plants from 5 MW LHV to 50 MWH LHV. This activity gives to HAFFNER ENERGY valuable experience feedbacks, and the required expertise for industrial project management and risk assessment. HAFFNER ENERGY filed 20 international patents. HAFFNER ENERGY has been selected in 2017 by BPIFRANCE among 60 other companies in France, to be part of the French most renowned accelerator for SMEs, and has gained several major awards for its innovations.
