Claim your profileI am a reporter at The Wall Street Journal, where I write about companies that make medicines, vaccines and medical devices. I am also the author of the book "The Messenger: Moderna, the Vaccine, and the Business Gamble That Changed the World," published by Harvard Business Review Press in 2022. Topics of interest in my WSJ coverage: Covid-19, Ozempic and other weight-loss drugs, cancer treatments including immunotherapy, the drug-pricing debate, drug shortages, Ebola, and healthcare whistleblowers. My WSJ colleagues and I were named finalists for the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting, for our coverage of rising drug prices. Before the WSJ, I worked at Dow Jones Newswires and the Lansdale (Pa.) Reporter newspaper.
