I am deputy editor of Newsround, one of BBC’s longest-running brands.We deliver news and topical content for children across TV and digital. I was formerly Assistant Editor across BBC Sport's digital platforms, which have a weekly global reach of 27 million browsers and a social media following of 30m people.At the BBC, I've also lead the digital football team, the live team around major events, the development team working closely with Product and the production team.I have 20 years experience in newspaper journalism and have a passion for helping to develop people and encouraging them to think creatively. Outside work, I have written children's mystery books, love Liverpool FC and baseball.
