I am a lifelong storyteller and communicator. I excel in breaking down complicated material to deliver interesting and easy to understand information via TV, radio and social media. Storytelling is in my blood. On my 5th birthday, I received a microphone. From then on, I knew storytelling was in my future. My passion is taking complicated content and producing stories people enjoy and understand. Staying connected to my community and being real are core values for me, so what you see on camera is what you get when we meet in person.I'm an absolute tech nerd! A strength of mine is taking new technology and using it to enhance my storytelling.I’ve been active in every community I’ve worked in, emceeing events and participating in WSU events, like the Edward R. Murrow Symposium, and helping graduating WSU students get their start in the business. I am a member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and I participate in live radio shows and on podcasts.I am a proud Coug, Seahawk, Mariner, Storm, Sounder, Zag (my wife's alma mater) and now Kraken fan! I'm from Yelm so the PNW is where my heart is.
