I enjoyed a 25 year career in journalism, including 11 years at the Courier Mail, the last nine of which were as Racing Editor.I also worked in roles with SKY Racing, Radio TAB and Racing & Sports. In early 2021, I made the switch out of journalism to join the Brisbane Racing Club in an administration role, while also continuing to work with SKY Racing.In 2023 I took up an opportunity to consult to the Ipswich Turf Club in the capacity of Racing Manager, while continuing roles with SKY and a number of professional ratings agencies as an analyst.In May 2024, I accepted an offer to join the Ipswich Turf Club team on a full-time basis in the role of Club Secretary / Chief Executive Officer.
