Each week I report on stories from on our doorstep to the far corners of the globe - crunching down complex issues to explain how and why they affect the lives of our readers.I’ve knocked on the front doors of ruthless trophy hunters, travelled to the centre of the Arctic Circle and witnessed the mindless destruction of the Amazon rainforest.I’ve also worked undercover on investigations to shine a light on the issues many don’t want you to know about.I’ve been named environment reporter of the year twice at the Society of Editors’ Press Awards and also won the prize for science writing at the British Journalism Awards.
