I'm a writer and editor with 22 years of journalism experience. I've reported from New York, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai about everything from central bank policy to insider trading in the U.S. options market. As a Deputy Editor at The New York Times I lead the Business section, ensuring stories meet the highest standards of independence and rigor. Collaborating with newsroom leadership and managing a large team, we deliver impactful coverage across digital and print platforms while addressing the needs of a discerning audience. I also worked at Business Insider, as executive editor for the U.S. newsroom, helping guide the work of 120 journalists who covered everything from stocks to sports, and led Bloomberg News's coverage of dealmaking in North and South America, running a team of nine journalists from Brazil to Canada covering the highest profile and most competitive business stories. Before that I helped reimagine the Heard on the Street column at the Wall Street Journal as the news editor in charge of Asia -- based in Hong Kong and Singapore.
