I am a senior at The George Washington University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications with a minor in Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I believe in the storytelling power of print and broadcast journalism to create tangible social impact. My roles as Editor-In-Chief of the GW chapter of Her Campus Media and experience as a reporter for the GW Hatchet prepare me to pitch, report and edit news stories of a variety of topics. I also have a great understanding of social media as an evolving news media platform due to my role as the Director of Marketing and Social Media with Genesislevel and my previous roles as Social Media Director of Her Campus GWU and Assistant Public Relations Director of Generic Theatre Company. With digital media being so prevalent in our lives, I am able to tie together my news reporting and social media knowledge to deliver messages to mass audiences on a variety of platforms.
