Claim your profileThe need for optimizing technology to support faster and smarter business operations has never been greater. My niche is building and optimizing tools that support better workflows and productivity in newsrooms. I thrive when unanticipated events are thrown my way, and that’s why my background is mostly centered around journalism. But my success in furthering the nitty gritty technical parts of a non-stop, fast-paced environment makes me a great fit for any company. The role I’ve mostly fallen into – whether by title or by seizing opportunities for improvement -- is tech advocate and liaison. And my experience is broad, spanning across operations management, product development, digital media, television news, online journalism and storytelling, consulting, video and photo production, and information technology. Based in New York, I currently manage the development of newsroom products that help journalists monitor and publish content to the Bloomberg terminal. Previously, I led an operations team responsible for providing world-class support to 2,500+ journalists around the world who work out of company bureaus and remote sites like official government buildings. It doesn’t matter if the task requires extreme measures like inventing new workflows to accompany a technology transition or even lobbying city council to change a traffic pattern, I find unique ways to solve problems and get stuff done. Outside of work, I enjoy photography, all things tech/gadgets, exploring NYC, and trying different types of craft beer.
