Claim your profileMike Figliola has been working in the radio and television industry for 20+ years - and was fortunate enough to spend the entire time in New York. Mike began his career at WOR Radio as an intern in summer of 2000. After a few months of learning the ropes, Mike was hired as a news reporter and desk assistant covering stories around the Metropolitan area. During that time, he split his duties at WOR between shifts at 1010 WINS as a News Producer and at WBGO Radio as a City Hall/New York Beat reporter. In 2004, WOR promoted Mike to full-time producer on various shows including the Morning Show and Food Talk. Soon Mike was promoted to Executive Producer on The WOR Morning Show, and finally, Executive Producer of The John Gambling Show. Mike also worked with Money manager Jim Cramer and served as Executive producer of his radio show: Jim Cramer's Real Money. Real Money was the model for CNBC's Mad Money and Mike helped produce the pilot in 2004. Mike also served as Creative Director for Rocco DiSpirito from 2005-2006 helping produce a pilot for A&E television and was in charge of creative aspects of Spirit Media. In September 2013, Mike was hired by MSNBC as a booker/producer for their 'Central Booking' team working with MSNBC's day side line up including Chuck Todd, Jansing and Co. and Andrea Mitchell. In February 2014, Mike was hired as Booking Producer for News Nation with Tamron Hall. In December 2016, Mike was hired by SiriusXM Satellite Radio to serve as producer of Just Jenny with Jenny Hutt - a daily two hour news of day, entertainment, healthy, and lifestyle program airing on SiriusXM Stars Channel 109. Mike also produced, branded, and wrote a 6 episode limited series starring Supermodel and Actress Brooke Shield titled "Brooke Shields NOW!" that aired on SiriusXM Stars Channel 109 in early 2017. In 2020, Mike's debut fiction novel "The Slow Midnight on Cypress Avenue" was published by Permuted Press (an imprint of Simon and Schuster). Mike's current role is as Editorial producer at CNN began in 2017 and has served on the flagship morning show "New Day", "CNN This Morning", and currently in prime time with, "Laura Coates Live".
