Claim your profile"I didn't know just where to begin, I just started" - Marcel DelgadoI am the founder of the boutique stop motion/mixed media animation studio called TriClops Films, where I aim to push the stylistic and narrative boundaries of the medium with work that is imaginative, bold, and made with an unpretentious approach that embraces the human hand within the creative process. Under this banner I've created several award-winning original short films, made music videos and other projects for various clients, and partnered with different Atlanta-based organizations to promote the art form through hands-on workshops and screenings. My original work has been screened at and won awards from such events as Atlanta Film Society's Locals Only, the Mosaic World Film Festival, the Atlanta Horror Film Festival, the New York Animation Film Awards, the Spotlight Short Film Awards, and the Florida Animation Festival to name a few. Additionally, I am also an award-winning entertainment journalist and multimedia video editor. For nearly a decade, I've covered everything from social justice events such as the Atlanta March for Social Justice & Women and the And Still I Rise Teen Spoken Word Workshop to in-depth film criticism and breaking news of some of the year's biggest entertainment stories to interviews with industry talent such as Michael B. Jordan, Barry Jenkins, Storm Reid, Maya Erskine, Colman Domingo, several artists from Pixar, and many more. My work has been included in outlets such as VOX ATL, SCAD Connector, SCAN Magazine, Looper, and more.
