Claim your profileI am a writer, reporter, journalist, and filmmaker currently serving as an entertainment and culture reporter for Fox News and SiriusXM Radio. The COVID lockdown in 2020 provided the opportunity to write my memoir, The Fracturing: Love and Madness at the End of the Century, A Complicated Love Story — a work of narrative nonfiction that explores how confronting the most painful truths of our lives can lead to profound transformation. In 1997, I left the woman I loved without understanding why. The decision triggered a psychotic break — an unraveling that echoed a childhood trauma I had never known existed. Years later, while working as a reporter — I began to question not only the public narratives I helped shape, but those I had constructed about my own life. As my professional world fractured, so did the personal mythology I had long clung to. This memoir weaves an intimate personal reckoning with a broader meditation on how media, misinformation, class divisions, and identity narratives shape — and distort — our inner lives — and how confronting these often-hidden forces can lead to profound personal transformation. I am currently a fellow for FAIR in the arts, a nonpartisan network promoting freedom of expression and excellence in creative endeavors, and active in the SoCal Alliance of Braver Angels
