Claim your profileI am a visual editor and photojournalist at National Public Radio in Washington, D.C., where I produce short form videos and daily news content for online and emerging platforms. I've collaborated on a variety of visual projects across the organization, ranging from national political pieces to the Tiny Desk concert series. Before coming to NPR, I supervised and managed the visuals department at the the Des Moines Register, winning an Emmy for my video work and serving as a staff photographer and videographer during the 2016 political cycle. I previously worked as a staff photojournalist at the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, where I was named the Class 3A Star Photojournalist of the Year four times by the Texas Associated Press Managing Editors. I was also selected to lead Scripps News Service visual coverage at the 2012 Olympics in London. A Texas native with roots in the Houston and Rio Grande Valley areas, I am a photojournalism graduate of the University of North Texas. Other stints included work at The Morning News in Fayetteville, Ark., and a reporter/photographer position at the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle in Cheyenne, Wyo.
