Claim your profileI'm a multimedia journalist with more than a decade of experience in local, national and international reporting. Based in Brooklyn, N.Y. Overseas Press Club Scholar alum. I managed a hyperlocal digital news site on Long Island soon after earning my degree in journalism from Stony Brook University. It was an early-career crash course in breaking news and general assignment reporting while managing the day-to-day operations of the site, including freelancers. I learned to respect every story, to find the profound in the seemingly mundane and to tell stories big and small that further our understanding of the human condition and how the world works.
