Claim your profileI spent my first two years of college at Ocean County Community College where I held a two year long internship with Hackensack Meridian Health Care. I was able to expand my understanding for medical journalism at this internship by researching new health care technology and interviewing staff members. In addition to the internship, I was heavily involved with my campus newspaper and was given my own pop-culture column. After completing my Associates Degree, I transferred to Boston University to earn a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from Boston University's nationally ranked journalism program. Here, I honed in on my talents and joined a variety of school programs including BUTV10's the Wire and Her Campus. I was able to sharpen my on-camera skills as well as fulfill the show's co-producer position. Weekly, I wrote for BU Her Campus, a magazine published for female college students.
