In my decade-long career growth at Kansas’ CBS affiliate, KWCH, I’ve expanded a broad skill range and gained vast experience in digital production, copy editing, journalism, strategic communication ( including social media strategies and search engine optimization), content creation and leadership. I’ve played a key role in expanding the state’s No. 1 news source to reach a nationwide and global audience at new levels.My foundation for this career growth began with my solid writing base which I established over a 5-plus-year career start as a reporter for Wichita-area news outlets. This included extensive coverage of communities in north Sedgwick County for the weekly, Ark Valley News, one of Kansas’ best-regarded sources of community journalism.
