Claim your profileI have worked for six newspapers in six states before settling in Rockford. I have won several awards, including the Lisagor Award in 2019 and was one of three finalists for the Lisagor in 2018 (and two of the three finalists in 2019). I believe strongly in data journalism but also believe that sports writing is usually more about writing about the people who play the sports than about the game itself.
