I'm an experienced digital journalist — editor, reporter, writer — and newsroom leader with deep roots in both news and entertainment. An incurable deadline junkie, I thrive on the mad rush of breaking news while still being able to serve as the calm hand guiding a team effort. I covered JonBenet Ramsey as a crime reporter and was ejected from a Rolling Stones concert as a music critic. I served as the editor of two different youth-focused daily newspapers, overhauling both publications. I launched a successful music blog that was once name-dropped on a basic-cable sitcom. I drove through floodwaters to help lead all-night coverage of a devastating natural disaster. And on top of all that, I spin depressing music on satellite radio every Sunday night.
