Claim your profileI am a recent graduate from Florida Gulf Coast University. I graduated with a BA Degree in Journalism, and minors in Creative Writing and Interdisciplinary Studies. In my experience with the Journalism program, I learned about news and why its consumption and legitimacy are important for the past, present, and future. News and writing, in general, fascinate me and have since I was young.During my time studying at FGCU, I gained the necessary skills to become a better writer and journalist. The coursework I've taken has informed me of what journalism and writing have to offer. Courses such as News Literacy, Writing for a Mass Audience, News Writing, and Senior Seminar prepared me for what is to come in my future job.
