Claim your profileAs a communications expert, publicist, and former broadcast journalist, I have spent 20 years mastering the art of storytelling, media strategy, and brand positioning. My journey began as a child, watching my family build one of South Florida’s top media buying and advertising agencies, placing some of the most influential pastors on major networks like BET and The Word Network. That early exposure shaped my passion for media and communications.I went on to work in television and radio, serving as a news reporter, anchor, producer, and radio marketing professional. I pioneered the Manatee County Mobile Newsroom, becoming the first reporter to hold the role while also producing and leading daily news coverage. In my current role with the City of Tampa, I led the media campaign for the city’s Litter Skimmer Trash Boat, securing an award for its environmental impact. Now, as the Founder of How Public Relations, I lead a talented team dedicated to helping brands gain visibility, credibility, and media recognition. In 2024 alone, we secured over 70 media features, formed celebrity partnerships, and achieved over 4 million in estimated media reach. With a deep understanding of media relations, I ensure our clients' stories are not just told—but heard by the right audiences.Beyond PR, I’m passionate about faith, women’s empowerment, and community impact. I host major events in Tampa Bay that connect women and moms with resources, donors, and supporters, helping them thrive in their roles as wives, mothers, and career professionals.Let’s connect and explore how strategic storytelling can elevate your brand’s presence!
