I'm an award winning and multi-nominated Television Reporter and News/Sport Presenter currently at ITV News/ITV Central. In my current role I am a News and Sport Reporter and Presenter for ITV News where I present the news programme, package stories and go live from different locations across the world. Indeed, in my time at ITV I have reported abroad on multiple occasions. From big sport stories in Greece, Italy and Germany to a solo trip to Portugal where I self shot and edited reports on consecutive days and oversaw, set up and prepared my own lives on location. Throughout the course of my work, I have interviewed huge names in sport, news and politics, securing exclusives along the way. I trained as a journalist at Leeds Trinity University, gaining a Distinction in a Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism. Previously I freelanced for major radio brands Global and Bauer, interviewing leading politicians and sportsmen such as former Prime Minister David Cameron and Rugby World Cup winner Jonny Wilkinson. I have a great deal of experience in Television Presenting in sport and in news and especially thrive in front of the camera or microphone. In my job, it is important to be versatile. Previously I have anchored news programmes from the scene of big breaking news and fronted specials/documentaries. Whether I am at a sports press conference, major news story or covering the softer side of life, I'm always professional, punctual and well prepared. Im a fully trainer self shooter and edit my own packages and interviews, comfortable on either Adobe Premiere or Avid. Though my passion lies in sport, particularly football, I love all things news too. On a personal level, not only am I ambitious and hard working, I'm also determined to achieve my own personal goals in the field of journalism. In May 2016 I was nominated for Reporter of the Year at the Royal Television Society Awards for Yorkshire, whilst in June 2017, I was once again nominated for the same award- winning it in July 2017. In the same, I was nominated and 'highly commended' in the category of Best 'TV Journalist' at the Yorkshire & Humber 02 Media Awards. I have also recieved a Royal Television Award nomination for my Presenting.
