My career in journalism started in 2017 shortly after I moved to the United States from Ukraine and was sparked by unique experiences including working with the Emmy-Award Winning CNN International Desk team. I’ve contributed to live breaking news coverage of major world events, including the Red Sea Crisis, Israel-Hamas War and Russian Invasion of Ukraine. The latter has been recognized with an Emmy Award for live breaking news coverage of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine in 2023. My daily responsibilities include providing video and editorial assets to CNN’s domestic and international show teams. I collaborate with the CNN Digital team on numerous news stories and have already authored 300+ news articles on Russia/Ukraine. My strength lies in researching, finding reliable sources and translating complex topics into easily digestible information. I've also tapped into my passion for segment producing. I love the creative process of working on the news story and finding the most engaging video elements to enhance it.
