Claim your profileAfter graduating from Columbia Journalism School in 2014, I spent a year in the US working at publications including TreeHugger, Audubon Magazine and ClimateWire. In 2016, I moved to India to be the environment reporter at The Quint and later headed the video teams at Hindustan Times and Mint. In 2019 I became the head of Mongabay global’s video operations, where I worked on building the freelance network of multimedia journalists across more than 30 countries in multiple languages until late last year. Now, I am the co-founder of In Old News, trying to balance working on stories with the many demands of entrepreneurship.At In Old News, we have trained thousands of journalists in over 65 newsrooms to use their phones for multimedia journalism (aka MoJo). We also provide trainings on the ethical use of AI in journalism and solutions journalism. Our aim is to support a diverse journalism ecosystem through stories and trainings.I have lived in Kenya, Indonesia, Brazil, France, USA and England. I am currently based in Gurugram.
