I am a journalist with a passion for finding the truth and presenting it to audiences in a clear and digestible way. I love being the quarterback of the show and making sure I am leading my team through stressful situations, in hopes that everything looks clean for our audience - even if that means sometimes the failure rests on my shoulders. I am motivated to learn the roles and responsibilities in all areas of television journalism so I can best serve the community and my newsroom. I believe the platform of journalism can and should be used to amplify diverse voices in the community, and, in particular, those that have historically been overlooked. My passion for both this profession and political science have inspired me to uncover stories that can help make real change in the communities I serve.
