As a dedicated journalism and sociology student at the University of Missouri, I use my curiosity and passion for learning to seek out new and exciting opportunities. As I continue to develop stories that fulfill my curiosities, I aim to learn more about the world and the issues that affect it. By doing so, I hope to contribute to meaningful conversations with insightful and impactful research.Through the Missouri School of Journalism’s esteemed "Missouri Method," I have been deeply engaged in the reporting world. My time in the newsroom has provided me with in-depth research experience, heightened social awareness, and spirited collaboration with passionate journalists.Now as a rising senior, I am applying to several public policy graduate programs to learn more about effective social strategies. Having immersed myself in courses that help bridge a gap between journalism and the social sciences, my academic journey has equipped me with strong research, writing and analytical skills essential for both fields.
