Claim your profileLucy is the ABC's national regional affairs reporter at Parliament House in Canberra. Her stories cover issues affecting people living outside the major centres. She has filed to programs such as the ABC's Landline, 730 and 7pm News and co-presents a weekly news segment on Landline.As a former political reporter in the ABC's Canberra bureau, Lucy covered federal elections, leadership spills and major policy changes for television, radio and online. She also reported for flagship radio current affairs programs AM, The World Today and PM and worked as the political producer for Sabra Lane on 7.30. Lucy began her career as a rural reporter in the towns of Shepparton, Horsham and Mildura. She is president of the National Rural Press Club and has hosted numerous addresses, including the 2021 live election debate between the former federal and shadow agriculture ministers. Lucy also hosts and facilitates conferences and events. Most recently she facilitated the National Rural Maternity Services Forum in Canberra.
