I am a recent graduate of Miami University, where I studied journalism and American studies. I have worked as a local reporter at Northwest Signal Newspaper, covering a variety of topics relevant to the community. I was also the Campus and Community editor at The Miami Student, overseeing coverage for the largest section of the newspaper.As a reporter and an editor, I have developed skills in general assignment, breaking news, reporting, copy editing, and multimedia journalism. I have written about everything from crime and business to public meetings and culture. I have also won a Mark of Excellence Award for my cultural criticism piece for The Miami Student Magazine. I am passionate about telling stories that matter, and I value diversity, accuracy, and integrity. I am eager to join a team that shares these values and can offer me opportunities to learn and grow.
