My father joined the CIA before I was born. When I was a baby, my family moved to Athens, Greece. Just in time for a coup. My memoir, Spy Daughter, Queer Girl was published in October '22 with Latah Books and was a finalist for the Publishing Triangle Judy Grahn Lesbian Nonfiction Award. I received a master's in education from Harvard, taught G.E.D. to high school dropouts, and currently teach middle and high school students. I live in Oakland with my comic book writer/lawyer wife.
