My training in music, audio production, and physics of sound means I'm able to see beyond marketing buzz. My pragmatic approach enables me to focus on the features that matter most to real people. The New York Times honored me with their prestigious Publisher's Award for my hearing aid coverage. I love educating readers and using my platform to push the AV industry to improve in areas of hearing protection, addressing diverse needs, accessibility, and sustainability. I'm thrilled when I can help connect people with the gear that will make their lives a little happier. As part of Wirecutter's early team, I've personally worked to develop the site's headphone testing protocols and parameters, while always keeping an eye out for ways I can fine-tune and improve the process. In my time at Wirecutter, I've personally tested nearly 2000 headphones.
