Dr. Laura Toogood is the founder of Fieldmaster Group, which provides expert guidance and technical insight for managing the online profile. Laura specialises with helping UHNW families, CEOs, prominent individuals, leading corporations and luxury brands with the challenges presented by the digital age. She combines many years of industry experience with progressive academic insight to remain at the forefront of developments in social technology and online media. Recommended in the Spear's 500, she works alongside those operating in the fields of PR, law and private security and also has experience of assisting with complex legal cases from an online footprint perspective. Laura is working on her second book, which will be published by Bloomsbury Publishing. She is author of ‘Journalism and PR: News Media and Public Relations in the Digital Age‘ with John Lloyd and has worked as a research expert at the University of Oxford. She was previously the Managing Director of Private Clients at Digitalis. An experienced journalist, she has written for a number of publications, including The Telegraph and The Sunday Times, and works with the BBC and ITV. She is also the founder and editor of luxury lifestyle publication The Sloaney. Laura is a former winner of the Woman of the Future Award for 'Technology and Digital', the Spear's Magazine Future Leader in Wealth Management Award and was listed in Management Today's 35 Under 35 top businesswomen in Britain.Laura has given an address at the House of Lords about 'Big Data in the Digital Age' and was a keynote speaker at the Canadian Public Relations Society National Conference in Montreal. She was invited to speak at the Empire Club of Canada. Laura also spoke at the Workshop on Internet Trust, Reputation, Identity and Privacy at the International Conference of Social Informatics in Lausanne.
