As a child, I used to watch current affairs talk shows and news bulletins with my dad in the evening - no wonder I'm a journalist now. Journalism is not just a career for me - it is my unwavering passion and hobby. My inspiration to pursue this field stems from witnessing the injustices people face in my home country, Pakistan, at the hands of a 'corrupt' status quo - in an otherwise incredible country with good food, great local fashion, excellent hospitality and an eternal love for cricket. As I travelled to different countries and studied global politics, I became increasingly aware of the universal nature of the issues we face. This realisation only fueled my passion for international journalism, and I have since dedicated myself to this field with relentless determination. I am currently employed as a Social Producer at Talk TV, where I am responsible for covering a variety of shows, news events, and breaking news stories on socials. My goal is to present this information to our audience in a way that keeps them informed and up-to-date on the latest developments. Prior to my current position, I worked as a Financial Journalist with Funds Europe. In this role, I covered the investment industry both domestically and internationally. I had the opportunity to interview CEOs and other high-level executives from across Europe and beyond, and I produced some compelling content as a result. As a passionate journalist, I founded a digital news media outlet called News Globe during the height of the pandemic. With the help of a talented team of aspiring journalists, we have built a loyal following over the years. We aim to provide fearless journalism and hold the corrupt power elements in Pakistan and beyond accountable. News Globe strives to produce quality content ranging from local to global affairs.
