Growing up as the middle child in an almost-baseball-team family of eight boys, it didn't take me long to learn that I had to be creative and assertive to get my voice heard.I've used those communication skills as a news anchor, reporter, bureau chief and newsroom manager in the television news industry. I've also used my storytelling know-how to help clients create successful advertising and public relations campaigns as the director of public relations at Sorenson Advertising. As an Emmy-award winning journalist, I've also been honored by the Associated Press, the Utah Broadcasters' Association, and the Missouri Broadcasters’ Association for my work in breaking news, investigative reporting and feature reporting.I graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in communications with an emphasis in broadcast journalism. My wife and I have five children.
