I hold a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from UCSF, deeply interested in the intersection between biotech and business. During my doctoral study, I explored the toxic effects of abnormal levels of oxygen on protein homeostasis, with a focus on identifying novel targets for diseases such as hyperoxia lung injury and mitochondrial disease. Aside from my research, I am also passionate about biotech entrepreneurship and investment. I believe that bridging the gap between scientific discovery and commercialization is crucial for advancing healthcare technologies and improving patient outcomes. I volunteer in student-run groups to help biotech founders and entrepreneurs navigate the complex landscape of the biotech industry, with the aim of empowering the next generation of biotech leaders.
