Dipping a toe in the world of television filmmaking, in particular working closely with BAFTA winning directors Jack Cocker and Greg Clark, has been an enjoyable way of redeploying those skills developed in my previous career. It had taken me all over the world and, while I have consequently been saddened by what feels like the terminal decline of print journalism, it has been reassuring to discover that there are still outlets for the type of storytelling I am interested in.
