Claim your profileI'm a long-time digital journalist, working in leadership roles at major news organizations in the past 20 plus years. I'm currently a senior director at CBC News. For six years, I was Editor in Chief at HuffPost Canada and was managing editor at AOL Canada, where I also oversaw of AOL's Canadian operated brands such as Moviefone, Autoblog and StyleList. My digital career started at The Globe and Mail where I was part of the team that launched globeandmail.com in 2000. I've served as deputy editor, managing editor and ultimately the editor of globeandmail.com during two stints. I was executive producer and managing editor, digital, at The National Post/Financial Post, where we relaunched nationalpost.com and financialpost.com. I love the work we do in digital -- the ability to connect with readers, the collaboration needed to tweak that always running engine. I've worked on product and projects and have rolled up my sleeves to direct and build a newsroom that focuses on telling great stories to the largest possible audience. But most of all, digital is about teams. Diverse teams. Smart and collaborative teams where ideas can come from anywhere.
