I'm a former newspaper literary editor and senior commissioning editor in publishing, and now I'm using my 25 years of experience across those industries to help writers tell their stories and get them noticed. I offer structural editing, copy editing, ghost writing, mentoring, synopsis writing and advice on getting published; I write book reviews, features, comment pieces and obituaries and I commission work for the Guardian; and I sometimes do a little bricklaying on the side. I'm also excellent at corbelling, but you probably can't afford me for that.
