Previously, I worked at Siouxland News in Sioux City as an Evening News Anchor, Digital Specialist, Producer, and Multimedia Journalist for over 7 years until the local newsroom was shuttered.Upper Midwest Emmy Award, Iowa Broadcast News Association and Eric Sevareid Award-winning Journalist with a passion for putting the best product on air. I have created a number of emotional and attention-grabbing opens for our newscasts, covering flooding, severe weather and national breaking news.While in college and post-graduation, I was an on-air personality with Powell Broadcasting, hosting evening/late-night radio shows across multiple musical genres. In 2017, I co-hosted a popular top-40 morning radio show while working full-time at Siouxland News.
