I write The Big Idea column for The Boston Globe, which highlights new approaches to problems, and research we should know more about. I have moderated panels and spoken about innovation and entrepreneurship at events hosted by The International Women's Forum, PBS Digital Media for STEM, Harvard Medical School, and The Museum of Science Boston. I co-created and hosted a live event series for Google and MIT. From 2011 to 2021, I hosted and served as the executive editor of the public radio program Innovation Hub, which I launched. The program started local and then expanded to more than 100 stations, including Chicago, New York, Houston, Philadelphia, and Boston. It received the 2021 Clarion Award for Best Radio Talk or Interview Program. I also hosted and helped launch "Instigators of Change," a Khosla Ventures podcast. I've taught at Babson College and at the University of Massachusetts.
