Claim your profileKaila Nichols is a senior in the accelerated master’s program at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. Upon graduation, she will receive both her bachelor’s in journalism as well as her master’s in journalism with a specialization in politics, policy and foreign affairs. She covers the politics beat for the Medill News Service. Her past experience includes anchoring and producing the Northwestern News Network, writing for The Daily Northwestern and Los Angeles magazine. For a year, she was a production assistant on the PBS documentary, "Marian Anderson: The Whole World in Her Hands." Most recently, she interned at Good Morning America where she wrote scripts, produced stories and worked on digital and social media content. With a background in multimedia journalism, she is also passionate about all forms of storytelling in the production and publishing industries.
