Julia Naftulin is an editor on Business Insider's Special Projects team, where she spearheads series including: Transforming Business, Trends in Healthcare, Road To Paris, AI in Action, The Future of Supply Chain Management, and Community in Focus. Previously, she held a five-year tenure as BI's sex and relationships reporter, covering topics like psychology, sexuality, and the intersection of relationships and culture. She was BI's resident relationship advice columnist, penning the bi-weekly column Doing It Right. Julia also launched and formerly wrote BI's Dating App Clinic. Julia has spoken with a Wall Street accountant-turned-professional-girlfriend, a pastor who quit and became a stripper, and women who realized they were queer through watching TikTok videos. On a more personal note, Julia has written about her time aboard Goop's first cruise and how she healed after the end of a 10-year relationship. Julia has also held roles as assistant editor at Health.com and commerce editor at Dotdash. Her work has been published in Health magazine and on Time.com, ApartmentTherapy.com, TheKnot.com, and Bicycling.com. She graduated from Syracuse University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in magazine journalism. Julia lives in Philadelphia.
