As Head of Nikkei's Visual Storytelling team, I'm responsible for exploring and commissioning news stories that involves data visualization and other newer formats of story-telling. You can find some of our work here: https://vdata.nikkei.com/　（Japanese） https://asia.nikkei.com/Infographics（English） Prior to taking on the current role, I spent 5 years in London, working closely with my colleagues at the Financial Times, which Nikkei acquired in 2015, to deepen our partnership and expand the scope of our collaboration. Before that, I spent over 20 years in the Nikkei newsroom as a media and technology reporter including 7-year deployment in the U.S., first as a Chief Correspondent in New York and later as Silicon Valley Bureau Chief.
