I've written more than one hundred book reviews, critical articles, and interviews for several print and online publications, including the San Francisco Chronicle, the Los Angeles Review of Books, the Chicago Tribune, the Boston Globe, the Daily Beast, the Washington Post, Science magazine the Barnes & Noble Review, the Kansas City Star, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Raleigh News & Observer, the Charlotte Observer, and other newspapers and magazines. I’ve also written computer journalism for PC World, InfoWorld, DOS World, Maximize, Computer Buyer’s Guide and Handbook, Microcomputer Journal, Laptop Buyer’s Guide and Handbook, and PC Upgrade. At about the time I was writing for InfoWorld and PC World, I wrote a computer column called “The Computer Corner” for the North Sioux City Times.I have also taught writing classes at Western Iowa Technical Community College, the local community college in Sioux City, Iowa.
