I cover stories others often overlook, from council chambers to community trauma, with a focus on transparency, accountability, and public interest.My work frequently draws on Freedom of Information requests, data analysis, and deep local knowledge — often finding the big story hidden in the small print. I currently report on Bedford Borough Council and specialise in areas like domestic abuse, safeguarding, and policy impact.I’m also exploring how AI can support public-interest journalism — not replace it — through smarter tools for sourcing, summarising, and surfacing overlooked leads.
