Claim your profileI am the Associate Managing Editor of the Wall Street Journal, part of the senior management team working within the newsroom to ensure all reporters and editors have what they need to generate world-class coverage. I help shape newsroom strategy, initiate and lead transformation projects, and support bureau chiefs and coverage chiefs. I work on recruitment, promotion and retention of staff, help with crisis management and contingency planning for the newsroom, and assist with editorial budget management, including salary planning. I was previously the Journal’s Chicago bureau chief, managing and editing a team of award-winning business journalists who report and write on food companies and agriculture; manufacturing and the industrial supply chain; and aviation, aerospace and the space business. I was also the WSJ's law bureau chief, responsible for legal coverage across the newsroom. Before that, I was the U.S. financial correspondent for the Financial Times based in New York, covered capital markets from London and Hong Kong, and have written broadly on politics and business from Washington and London.
