Claim your profileI am an award winning presenter, broadcast journalist, programme-maker and producer with twenty years media experience - the vast majority, with the BBC. I specialise in producing long-form documentaries and features, notably the award-winning "Telling Lives" format. Among other successes were a BBC investigation into child poverty, and a commercial radio commemoration of D-Day. I'm currently working on podcasting and long form series. As a senior member of the newsroom at Radio Leicester, I am trusted with high profile projects and high level editorial decisions. My experience spans across media. I work with colleagues on BBC regional TV to help bring original stories to the screen, and with colleagues at BBC online to maintain our website and social media feeds. I am passionate about sharing my experience and knowledge with a new generation of broadcasters and journalists, and as such have been invited to deliver guest lectures, and take part in seminar discussions at undergraduate and postgraduate media course in Midlands universities. I have also provided training and mentorship for colleagues within the BBC.
