Jillian Blume is a New York City–based writer whose feature articles have appeared in magazines, newspapers, and websites including Business Insider, New York Observer, Marie Claire, Self, City Realty, ThisDogsLife.co, Petful.com, Best Friends Animal Society, The Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals, The Pet Gazette, Ocean Home, Inside Your Dog's Mind, Inside Your Cat's Mind, The Animal Mind, and many others. She also writes for immigration lawyers, including reference letters, support letters, exhibit lists, and collects and organizes exhibits for artists, scientists, educators, and business cases. She has worked as Editor in Chief for the startup magazine, The Affluent Page; Associate Editor for Teenage Buzz; and an Editorial Assistant for The Paris Review. She received a master’s degree in creative writing from New York University and has taught writing and literature at a number of colleges in Manhattan.
