Claim your profileI am a documentary filmmaker and photographer from Mexico City. I am currently based in New York where I have been producing and shooting for VICE News for the last few years. My work has taken me across the US and around the world where I have focused on telling stories about identity, the human consequences of immigration policy, and climate change. I prefer to work with a light footprint, shoot most of her work handheld, and seek to capture raw and intimate moments with authenticity. My work has appeared on HBO, Showtime, Hulu, TIME, Tunbi, and NatGeo. Some of the stories I have worked on have been acknowledged with five News and Documentary Emmys, a Peabody, and an Overseas Press Club award.
