Claim your profileI am an award-winning editor who has risen up the ranks at the Montreal Gazette over the past 28 years from a lowly Copy Clerk to the Associate Editor at the newspaper. Along the way I have played a key role in guiding our paper through many big changes, especially with regards to the disruption the internet caused our industry and social media. I have also been at the forefront of embracing new technology in the newsroom. In addition to being a leader in my newsroom, our parent company (both Canwest and later Postmedia) has sent me to newspapers across the country on numerous occasions to help implement new technology and help train staff.I am responsible for the editing team at the Gazette and have helped build a team-oriented foundation of trust with those who report to me. I have also been a key member of the management team since 2010 as we have navigated the often murky waters of the industry.Outside of work, my key passion is bridge, where I am a Canadian champion and three-time junior champion. I was the non-playing captain for the Canadian Open team in Salsomaggiore, Italy, for the 2021 World Championships.
