I've been honored to manage one of the automotive performance aftermarket's most revered brands for over half a decade. Gale Banks is a living legend. Every day, I glean just a little more from his wealth of knowledge and wisdom. In my short time at Banks, we've nearly tripled revenue and have grown the marketing team to nearly a dozen creatives. We've built brand equity using educational video content that influences influencers. All of my skills come into play in this role as Brand Manager, from audio and video production to public relations and advertising, to new product development. In addition to managing all media at Banks Power, I co-host and produce the popular Truck Show Podcast, the #1 pickup truck enthusiast podcast. I'm often asked how someone who spent 26 years producing morning radio could successfully transition to the automotive aftermarket. The simple answer is that content is content. Knowing your audience is nine-tenths the battle. Having built custom vehicles throughout my time at KROQ-FM, I built an automotive industry knowledgebase and friend group that prepared me for this next step in my career.
