I am an Award-winning journalist with over 15 years of experience in local and national news. I led a team of over 20 journalists in Denver during the Aurora Theater Shooting, supervising reporters, producers and editors in covering the breaking news story and a year later, I spearheaded the coverage of the month-long 1st anniversary – forging relationships with victims and victims’ families that are still strong to this day. I was a segment producer on the Emmy-Award winning documentary about the historic 2013 flooding in Colorado. In 2020, I was instrumental in the implementation of the new CNN Race & Equality Team, focusing on injustice issues in America following the death of George Floyd and protests across the country. In my free time I enjoy traveling with my husband, adding stamps in our passports. Reading is my get-away and I love getting lost in a good book, and even a good television show. I am always looking for the next great story to tell.
